The Bonny Men

The Bonny Men formed in early 2011 and rapidly became one of the most talked about and exciting acts to emerge in the Irish trad/folk music scene. The seven musicians – Turlough Chambers, Natalie Ní Chasaide, Conor Lyons, Moss Landman, Adam Whelan, Maitiú Ó Casaide and Barry Lyons – have received many awards as individuals, including All-Ireland Championships, World Bodhrán Champion and the prestigious TG4 Young Musician of the Year.

Their debut album was released to critical acclaim in late 2011 and the band has played at some of the most prestigious traditional music festivals in Ireland, France, the UK, the United States, Denmark, India, Indonesia, Italy and Africa.

2015 saw the release of the band’s second album, Moyne Road, which reached no. 1 in the Irish music charts and received many positive reviews… ”Moyne Road is a scintillating album that alternates driving , high octane instrumental sets with thoughtful and characterful new songs composed by the band members themselves” The Living Tradition.

The band has been featured several times on Irish television, via programmes such as TG4’s Ar Thóir an Cheoil, the BBC’s Cuisle and most recently Bosca Ceoil. Performing a mixture of traditional, original and contemporary music and songs, The Bonny Men combine explosive energy, creative harmonies and clever and intriguing arrangements in a way that is always entertaining.

CrossHarbour is a dynamic young band from London’s thriving Irish music scene. Fusing well-loved traditional tunes and songs with original compositions and innovative arrangements, CrossHarbour has gained a reputation for its highly virtuosic, energetic and polished performances.
