Marty Barry is a traditional musician and singer from Banbridge County Down, playing guitar and banjo. Marty gained a huge interest in music from a young age, he went on to study at the University of Limerick. Since graduating, Marty has been a full time performer/ tutor and is working on his debut solo album. He has toured extensively throughout Europe, Australia and China. Marty’s recording credits on traditional albums include Caitlin Nic Gabhann, Ciarán Ó Maonaigh and Cathal Ó Curráin’s album The High Seas, Alan Reid and Rachel Conlon’s A Quare Yield. Marty performs regularly with The Friel Sisters and recording on their latest release Northern Sky.
